More on the puppy-wuppy

After yesterday's post, there were quite a few questions thrown my way about Harley, newest add to the steadily growing family, and this post serves the purpose of answering them all, starting with the most consistently asked ones:

Yes, we are certifiably nuts.

No, this probably isn't the sanest time to introduce a furball into our household.

Yep, we did it anyway. We're rebels that way.

For now, I view this venture as totally worth it. She's an absolute doll and is head over tails in love with Tanner. I'm going to have to set up some boundaries eventually, because lately she's been getting more cuddle time than I have! But it's cute anyway =)

She may be lulling us into a false sense of security, but so far, she hasn't had any messes inside, she hasn't chewed anything to bits, and she hasn't tried run off, although the latter may be because her legs are no more than eight inches long. In general, she's content to curl up in whatever lap is available and sleep there until she's carefully discharged as said lap becomes vertical.

I think this guy gains a few cute points with every picture. She's completely smitten with him, and he with her, so I think this is going to turn out to be a pretty good match. It's adorable to watch.

Anyway, I'm off to go deter her from the laundry basket...she apparently has a thing for socks! Be certain, there will be many more pictures!

  1. Well, you certainly got your hubby in some photos! What's up with that?! All the fuss the other night....give him a puppy and he is good to go! I'm somewhat jealous, my husband won't be caught dead cuddling the puppy on camera :)

  2. Oh, and yes it is most likely a false sense of security :) Marley was much better behaved when she wasn't as comfortable in her surroundings! She is doing very well, though. She definitely likes chewing and she HATES any confinement be it the kitchen gate, the kennel, or her ginormous crate.

  3. Oh my goodness, between the two of them, they're off the cuteness meter!

  4. Well, now Tanner won't be jealous when you have a little one to cuddle. You're smart that way:):)
