January Giveaway: Win a Stainless Steel Ball Whisk!

It's time for the January giveaway!

We had so many favorite kitchen tools in our recent Kitchen Tool Roundup post, that we thought it would really be a pretty good option to choose one of them for a giveaway.

I (Kirstyn) have a lot of well loved kitchen tools that see a lot of use, but if there's one tool that I'm constantly exclaiming over to other people, it's this one. It's just fabulous. The open end design means that it's way easier to clean than a traditional whisk. In addition to that crucial feature, it has another perk: it's designed so that all the ball ends line up on a flat plane, which makes it super easy to reach into all corners of your saucepan. The flat plane is actually angled slightly, so you can hold the whisk in your instinctively preferred position, and all the ends still rest on the bottom of the pot.

Seriously, this little tool is a gem. And this week we're giving away one of them to a lucky winner, so they can discover the wonder of it for themselves.

So how do you enter? Easy. On the Rafflecoptor widget below there are three ways to enter. You can do one or all, but only one is mandatory. Each one you do will drop your name into the hat once for that step, so you can up your odds by doing more. The contest runs until next Friday night at midnight, after which we will contact the winner and send the whisk directly.

By the way: there is a silicone version of this whisk available, and it is recommended for use with nonstick pans, if that's what you own. Don't hesitate to enter if you have nonstick pans; if you win, we'll check with you before ordering and you can pick whether you prefer a stainless steel or a silicone tipped option.

Best of luck! a Rafflecopter giveaway

  1. So . . . if I win this, does that mean I have to cook something? Maybe that'd be a good thing.

  5. I LOVE whisks, and somehow I don't have one of these yet. I guess I will wait and see if I win before I run out and buy one.

  8. I feel proud to claim the kitchen store that you bought yours in :) Love our kitchen store! For anyone considering the silicon variety, I feel like the balls would almost be sticky on the bottom of the pan, but, perhaps no different than other silicon products. I have been tempted to get this metal one for my few pans that are not coated. I think our next pans will be ceramic, like Stephanie's (and Shirley's). Metal should work on those, I believe.

  9. I would love to have one of these. My other 'favorite' whisk is a nuisance to clean.

  12. Haven't tried this one. Is the bottom of the handle sealed so it can run through the dishwasher without fear of water dripping into your food later?

  13. It is! It never even crossed my mind to think of that factor, but I just checked and it's solid. :-).
